There were many changes for everyone in the year of 2020, one very positive one for us being the relocation to a new head office. Despite the challenges the year had in store, we had undoubtedly outgrown our existing office which was further affirmed by the sudden need for an increase in personal space.

London based interior design firm Studio Morelli were appointed to design the interiors of the new offices – the debut project for this recently opened practise. Founder Matt Morelli, has celebrated an extensive career in design in both Australia and the UK, working for global organisations such as WeWork and TP Bennett, delivering exemplary design solutions worldwide.

‘The critical motivation of the brief was to source independent companies and local talent - all part of The Collectives commitment to the community and emerging businesses which flows through their ethos’, says Matt Morelli, owner of Studio Morelli.’ The products within The Collective portfolio, from British designed and manufactured furniture, to acoustic panels made from recycled plastic, provided the core inspiration, to which I sourced local art from folkestone artist Ali Fogg, floor covering from the Clerkenwell Rug Studio and air purifying plants from Pot & Vessel.

We now look forward to the new chapter of the business in this exciting creative hub at The Glassworks Building.
