Swell acoustic wall panel, designed by Jones & Partners has won the Icons of Design award by The Workspace Design Show.

Swell is a lightweight, acoustic wall cladding solution with a unique height of 2.7m that offers a horizontally seamless solution. Reminiscent of a wave, Swell introduces a tactile softness into the workplace indicative of loose curtaining; a timeless wall-finish with both acoustic and environmental properties. Swell is made from 12mm EchoPanel® which offers superior acoustic qualities, eco-innovation and is made from 60% recycled PET bottles.

Dominic Dugan, Creative Director at Oktra commented on the product, saying: ‍

'As comfort, particularly acoustics, is key when providing a well-balanced working environment, this is great for easily covering walls i.e., riser doors etc which can also be easily removable, due to their own structural integrity. Looks pretty cool too!'

Swell is manufactured locally in the UK using state of the art tooling techniques and was recently awarded the Made In Britain certification in support of local manufacturing, commerce and innovation.
