Bechstein Hall

Zen Embossed

C. Bechstein’s vision for Bechstein Hall was a perfect blend of legacy and innovation, transforming 18-22 Wigmore Street into a multi-use space that honours both the brand’s craftsmanship and the building’s rich history as a former Brinsmead piano showroom. Spanning three commercial floors, the project integrates flagship piano showrooms, workspaces, a recital hall, bar, and restaurant, with residential apartments above.

With acoustics at the heart of the design, specialists Kahle and Sound Solutions guided material selection to achieve exceptional sound quality and control. Zen Embossed seamlessly complements the scheme’s fluted glazing and timber detailing. Used in practice rooms, the green room, and hospitality areas in a refined off-white (908), as well as in the recital hall’s light lobbies in deep black (550) for sound dampening.
